Cieľom projektu bolo podporiť transformačný proces a hodnotovo orientované podnikateľské prostredie v autonómnej oblasti Vojvodina, Srbsko. Obsahovo bol projekt zameraný na vytvorenie stratégie efektívneho riadenia malých a stredných podnikov, na zvyšovanie ich výkonnosti, profesionality riadenia a budovanie ľudských kapacít pri uplatňovaní princípov rovnosti príležitostí a rodovej rovnosti.
Súčasťou navrhnutej stratégie bola aj podpora vzdelávania a prípravy budúcich podnikateľov do podnikateľskej praxe. Za prínosné považujeme aj prepojenie teórie a praxe vďaka spolupráci zástupcov akademickej obce oboch krajín (Belehradská univerzita a EU Bratislava) s miestnymi podnikateľmi a manažmentom vo všetkých kľúčových fázach projektu, pričom princípy projektového a strategického riadenia realizované v projekte sa stali podkladom na rozšírenie programu manažérskeho vzdelávania vo vyučovacích plánoch Belehradskej univerzity.
Pilotná implementácia systému riadenia výkonnosti vo vybranej energetickej firme prispela ku skvalitneniu jej riadenia tak, že po skončení projektu bola základom novo vytvorenej siete malých energetických podnikov vo Vojvodine. Účelnosť a kvalitu projektu, ktorý výrazne prispieva k energetickej výkonnosti, vysoko ohodnotili aj zástupcovia provinčnej vlády Vojvodina:

It is my great pleasure to inform you that in the Executive Council of Vojvodina, on 24 September 2009, conclusion was made on the successful implementation of defined goals of the project with the title “Value based management as a driver of society development“, following the project’s presentation in the presence of the Provincial Secretary for Energy and Mineral Resources and all persons involved in the project implementation, including National Centre for Equal Opportunities and experts from KPMG, TMC Consulting in Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Trade and Banking and the Provincial Centre for Energy Efficiency.
Valuable assistance that you provided, primarily encompassing your professional knowledge, experience and resources necessary for the project realisation, will enable application of the state of the art management system which will increase level of energy efficiency for the wide range of present and future users – large consumers of limited energy resources in the period that follows. In the course of the project implementation, which will be financed from the Executive Council of the AP of Vojvodina’s own budget, as well as from donation funds, through its relevant Provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources, we foresee successful cooperation with the expert team that was involved in all phases of the project.
